Driven by the hope of a better life, what they discover when they set foot on the island of Montreal will surpass anything they had imagined: magnificent nature, relentless winters, an encounter with the First Nations, and the harsh reality of building a new world. Through the eyes of a young settler, we relive the enthusiasm, fears, and disillusionment of the first "inhabitants" of Ville-Marie. Between conflicts, unexpected friendships, and the quest for survival, this show will immerse you in the founding epic of Montreal, where every stone laid is a bet on the future.
