Prieuré de Viverie - Champagne Robert Grandpierre

Winemakers family since the 18th century in Champagne, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, the Champagne Robert-Grandpierre cultivates the vine on the beautiful slopes of Viviers sur Artaut. A knowledge perpetuated from generation to generation associated with an approach constantly in reflection. A respectful, authentic and creative sensitivity that accompanies both the work of the vineyard and winemaking in our cellars, so that our champagnes are the right signature of the house.

Wine tourism, after years of work, the site «Priory of Viverie» a building of the XIIth century, unique in Champagne, open its doors.

Respect for the environment is at the heart of the concerns of the house, the interceps are used for weeding to limit chemicals. Chemical weed killers are eradicated from the farm and weeding is exclusively
mechanical (interceps and raclette). The entire vineyard is covered with a controlled grass. The house seeks to minimize inputs. Phytosanitary treatments are as fair and as infrequent as possible to be more than reasoned.
