Playing with drama, vaudeville and fantasy, this comedy provokes laughter as much as fear. Fredrik Brattberg, discovered last season at the Comédie through "Sur la côte sud", is a young Norwegian author, also a music composer, with a taste for implosive family situations. His precise, rhythmic style plays with multiple variations on the same theme, here the eternal return, and mixes strangeness and ferocity. Reversing the tragic tradition that sons kill their fathers to fulfill themselves, this gem of dark humor pays striking homage to the difficulty of being parents!
