Musée numérique Micro-Folie

This innovative project, supported by the Ministry of Culture and coordinated by La Villette, is a space for culture and conviviality.

La Micro Folie is :
Regular artistic events such as :
> Renc'art: talks lasting around 1 hour on a variety of subjects (modern art, the Impressionists, women in art, etc.).
> Budding artists: art workshops for young and old, one Saturday and two Wednesdays a month.
> La Nuit des Musées: a night-time opening to discover art in a different way.
And so much more!

At La Chapelle St-Luc, the ‘Micro-Folie’ includes :
>> A Digital Museum
More than 2,000 digitised works of art from France's most prestigious cultural institutions (the Louvre, the Centre Pompidou, the Musée d'Orsay, the Musée du Quai de Branly, the Grand Palais, the Musée Picasso, the Institut du Monde Arabe, the Château de Versailles, the Opéra national de Paris, etc.) are accessible via digital tablets linked to a giant screen. The Digital Museum lets you discover eclectic works of art right in your own backyard.

access to the collections, one in self-guided mode, the second in guided mode during themed tours. A genuine tool for artistic and cultural education, the Digital Museum is an incredible medium for mediation and discovery...

>> A virtual reality area
The ‘Micro-Folie’ in La Chapelle Saint-Luc is equipped with a virtual reality area, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a 3D world and view reports and other documentation.

>> A fablab
Equipped with two 3D printers, this space is for anyone who wants to develop their creativity and learn how to use these machines.
