Saturday, April 26 - AIX-EN-OTHE: Heritage Dinners. The objective of this event is to promote the local cultural and architectural heritage of our town, to unite and promote the associations that contribute to the attractiveness and dynamism of our town with one goal: to perpetuate these events in our territory, the Pays d'Othe. In 1860, the old stone market hall was demolished. The "modern" market hall, designed by Aristide Fortier and built in 1889, belongs, by its architecture, to the family of Victor Baltard buildings. Jean-Louis Humbert will come to tell us its history. He will also remind us of the principle of the factories established in the department. A team of local restaurateurs and caterers have combined their talents to concoct a cuisine with the colors and flavors of our land. The constant pursuit of excellence inspires these professionals to be creative, to the delight of gourmets and epicureans. The generosity of certain local producers and patrons allows us to offer you an evening that remains accessible to as many people as possible. We are very honored and proud of the presence of Mrs. Anna-Barbara AUMÜLLER, as Patron for this first edition. Renowned designer, talented stylist, she challenges us on eco-responsible fashion, carrying human and environmental values. Guardian of various skills, she innovates for the greatest fashion houses while being involved in the transmission within international schools. Some of her models exhibited in the Halle will allow you to fully appreciate her immense work. A very big thank you to her for her trust. - An evening to discover or rediscover the history of the textile past of Aix-en-Othe and its surroundings. - A rich and varied program to immerse yourself in this period. - A place to welcome you in the heart of the village, a listed monument: the Halle Baltard. Witness to the boom of this era, it remains today a suitable place to organize this event, as in the most beautiful days of yesteryear.
