Le manoir des Tourelles

The manoir des Tourelles is located in the village of Rumilly Lès Vaudes, it is a rural edifice dating from the 16th century and entirely preserved, today it homes the town hall. The outsides of the building are accessible each day, you can visit the insides according to the schedules of town hall. By looking the round turrets pierced with gunboats at each corner of the building, we hypothesize that it was a fortified residence. The north façade has a door in a hexagonal turret and the south façade has a gallery on the first floor supported by six torsos columns with capitals emblazoned.Traces of the builders and different owners of the Manoir des Tourelles are numerous, come discover them and relive the history of this amazing residence.
