"Greet" means "host" or "welcome" in English.

Based on the model of the Big Apple Greeters, born in New York in the 1990s, our association "TROYES dès l'AUBE GREETERS" supports a new form of tourism: that which allows visitors to make an authentic encounter with an inhabitant of the Aube, free of charge. He will welcome you as a friend and show you "his" corner, "his" district, "his" city, of which he is proud and passionate. Because, the Aube has many treasures that everyone lives and perceives in their own way: a remarkable heritage, beautiful countryside, delicious gastronomy...

Developed in 90 cities around the world, united within the Global Greeter Network, this original initiative will be launched in Aube in 2011 thanks to the association TROYES dès l'AUBE Greeters.

So, come and take a tour on the side of participative tourism and discover the Troyes of the Trojans and the Dawn of the Aube, far from the beaten track!
