Eaux-Puiseaux
Circuit n ° 9 - Duration: 2h30 Departing from St Joseph's Chapel and its magnificent viewpoint, set off to storm the Forest of Othe, clinging to its limestone hillsides. As you pass, you will cross the cereal plain and its generous curves. After a long climb in the undergrowth, your efforts will be rewarded at the sight of the lord of the forest, the Pied Cornier tree, an oak over 500 years old whose trunk is nearly 6 meters high and reaches 1.85 m. of diameter. In the heart of the Othe Forest, you will enjoy taking a break at the Vaupicot base before diving into the village of Eaux-Puiseaux, its washhouse and its many tourist activities. The mountain bike base is open all year round except for the general opening period for hunting, from mid September to early March (period defined each year by prefectural decree visible at the town hall).
