Exposition "Mille nuances de l'eau et de la nature"

At the Grands Lacs de Champagne Tourist Office, the theme of water is in the spotlight with the paintings of Bertrand Delclaux! Don't hesitate to come in during opening hours to enjoy the paintings painted by the self-taught artist. Inspired by nature and its nuances that he interprets in his own way, Bertrand Delclaux offers pastels and oil paintings. His work is figurative or semi-figurative with a predilection for the theme of water in all its forms. Self-taught, in a context of tradition and family immersion, he has practiced the art of painting since adolescence. Recently retired, he has more time to devote himself to his passion for our greatest pleasure! His artistic approach: the study of the hues and nuances present in nature, as part of a synthesis between traditional artistic movements and a more modern education of the eye introduced by photography. Creating a work can take him between 2 days and 2 weeks, knowing that rework is possible. The main constraint is the long drying time required for oil paint between 2 layers.
