Exposition "Au temps de Camille Claudel : être sculptrice à Paris" au musée Camille Claudel de Nogent-sur-Seine

From September 13 to October 31, 2025, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. From November 2, 2025 to January 4, 2026, Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Camille Claudel and her work have been the subject of several monographic exhibitions, but her artistic and cultural entourage has rarely been mentioned, and above all, female artists who followed the same path remain unknown. This exhibition brings out of the shadows and brings together the original creations of exceptional female sculptors, studio comrades, friends or rivals of Camille Claudel, also gifted with a fertile imagination and a certain talent. Alongside the works by the sculptors, their portraits painted or photographed in their studio and letters exchanged by Camille Claudel and her comrades will bring back to life the female artistic network known to Camille Claudel during her dazzling career, from her first attempts in Paris at the end of the 19th century until her internment in March 1913.
