It's one of the most beautiful lakes in France! This pond, classified as a national nature reserve, was created by monks in the 14th century. Its two 330-hectare lakes are home to numerous birds: migratory birds from March to May, and other nesting species from June to August.
Please note that only the south basin is accessible. You can get to the central dike that separates the two basins by taking the little path that runs alongside the fishing pontoons to the east of the south basin.
