Nicknamed "Romilly socks", it was the real capital. You can discover how the bobbins and hosiery looms work. A team of volunteers will explain the different stages of manufacturing. Different areas are dedicated to elastic knitting, the "Cachou" sock, companies of yesterday and today, as well as the largest sock in the world, listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Former candle makers will also bring this old-fashioned trade back to life. From April 1 to October 31: Open every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Other days by appointment. From November 1 to March 31: Open only on request at 03 10 13 64 28. Guided tour for groups of at least 10 people by appointment. Disabled access and parking.
