The church, under the name of St-Pierre and St-Paul, evolved according to its time. It bears the traces of the construction of the XIIth century, one third of the building is of the XIVth, then it is enlarged in the XVth of a spacious choir and the rest of the building is of the XVIth. The style is mostly Gothic. Surmounted by a high tower in the place of a bell tower, this one of a height of about 33 meters, dates from 1790. Napoleon probably made his first communion in the church of Brienne. Before 1914, the bedside was surrounded by the cemetery. In 1940, the church was partially destroyed. It is endowed with remarkable stained glass windows, notably the martyr of Sainte-Agathe and the ark of Noé, realized in grisaille Troyenne.
