This 16th century church is the work of a generous donor. It was built near the Sainte Tanche fountain, known to cure certain illnesses. Due to a lack of financial means to erect a bell tower, the bell was "temporarily" placed in a small building inside the cemetery... where it can still be admired. In 1955, when the original church was in danger of collapsing, a vast reconstruction project of a smaller church was undertaken, in which many residents participated. This building was restored in 2019. Visit the church on request at the town hall during opening hours (Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Tel: 03 25 70 58 91). For a visit on another day, send your request by email: mairiedemontfey@wanadoo.fr.
