At Courteron, the church is dedicated to St-Lambert, without knowing exactly where to turn. Is it St. Lambert, a bishop of the 7th century, known as St-Lambert of Maastricht, or St-Lambert de Vence, bishop of the 12th century known as Lambert de Bauduen, or Lambert of Zaragoza, cephalophore martyr? Be that as it may, this 16th century church has an 18th century porch on which one can say glorification to the supreme being appeared in the Revolution. The keystones date from 1560 and 1561. A beautiful statue of St-Lambert, 18th century, polychrome wood, measures 1.50m. The nave that should have been extended to the west, was not, probably due to lack of financial means. The bell tower is of Romanesque origin.
