Bérulle
Sainte-Reine Chapel Tour 11 Km Departure from Bérulle To see on the way: Chapel Ste Reine d'Alise Before the storm of December 26, 1999, it was located in a beautiful setting of century-old oaks. This site, registered by decree of September 5, 1936, was once a high place of pilgrimage. Near the chapel, still intact, we can still see the location of the miraculous spring, now dry. Formerly, the old men, the sick, and more particularly the infirm, came in crowds. This pilgrimage began at daybreak, and barracks were set up along the path leading to the chapel; it was used for drinking and eating, and in the evening dances were improvised. Times have changed, but the tradition of pilgrimage is still respected. It takes place on the first Sunday of September. Extract from the book "Our Country of Othe" It is strongly disadvised to use the hiking trails during hunting season. DOWNLOAD THE CIRCUIT IN: MORE INFORMATION
