The chateau, surrounded by a moat and a river, is naturally prolonged by the clear cut boxwood motifs, the lawns punctuated by topiaries and the hornbeam hedges.
The wooded parkland that occupies the rest of the estate features some magnificent trees, including a gingko biloba and a tulip tree. There are also annual flowers, perennials and fruit trees such as cherry and fig.

The château, built of brick and stone in the Louis XIII style, has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1980 for its exterior appearance. The rest of the building has been listed on the Inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments historiques since 1930. 16th-century Commune listed as a Monument Historique.

Park open August 1 to September 15, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.
Open during the Journées du Patrimoine and Rendez-vous aux jardins.
All year round by appointment for groups.
