The Lord of Ervy wishes to form a new army of knights of all ages. Participants will be put to the test for an afternoon. On the program: challenges, puzzles and games! Will you be able to meet the challenges? Price: €4/person, free for under 5s. “Heritage Survey” in Chaource, at 3 p.m. Thursdays July 11, 25, August 1 and 22. Chaource, 1860; Prosecutor Poinsot has been assassinated and the brigade needs your help to identify and find the criminal. Using your classified file, try to solve the puzzles left by the murderer. 2 hours is the time you have to get your hands on the perpetrator of the crime, before the case is definitively closed. Put yourself in the shoes of a 17th century explorer and follow in the footsteps of Paul de Chomedey sieur de Maisonneuve! Born and baptized in Neuville-sur-Vanne on February 15, 1612, he was the co-founder of Montreal, Quebec in 1642. Are you ready for adventure? Price: €4/person, free for under 5s. - DISCOVERY WALKS: Circuits of 5 to 8 km, led by a member of the Othe Armance Tourist Office. Discovery of passionate locals and surprising places. A local snack will be offered to you during these hikes. Please bring: good walking shoes, a hat or cap, sunscreen, water, comfortable clothes (see pants for certain circuits). If you have any health concerns, please notify the group leader. Saturday July 20 at 2:30 p.m.: Vaujurennes. Meeting with Isabelle and Cyrille Blin, farmers and founders of N'Othe Farine. The couple produces the cereals (wheat, barley, rapeseed, sunflower and also hemp) which they need to transform into flour on site. Their new products: the sale of baguettes, breads, special breads, pastries, made with their flour! The meeting place will be communicated upon registration. Price: €5/person, snack included. Saturday July 27 at 9:30 a.m.: Davrey. Naturalist walk in the town of Davrey, led by the Departmental Federation of Aube Hunters and the Environmental Initiation Center of Othe and Armance. Raising awareness around the preservation of wetlands, the management of grassland ecosystems, the reproduction of odonates and the nesting of birds. Discover behind the scenes of Alex's farm: the cultivation of his fields, his cattle breeding, milking and the making of his yogurts. Meeting with Cécile Boël, master glassmaker, who restores stained glass windows for historic monuments and creates custom pieces for interior decoration. You will visit his workshop and attend a demonstration. Then, the church will open its doors to reveal the history of its restored stained glass windows. Price: adult €6, child aged 5 to 12 €3, free – 5 years old. Thursday August 8, at 2:30 p.m., in Ervy-le-Châtel. Discovery of the Maison du Vitrail d’Armance with Raphaël cultural mediator. This visit will allow you to understand the different stages of stained glass manufacturing. Then, you will go to the Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens church with a stay advisor from the Tourist Office. Price: adult €6, child aged 5 to 12 €3, free – 5 years old. - RENAISSANCE VISIT: Thursday July 18 and Wednesday August 14, at 3 p.m., in Chaource. The Renaissance in Chaource under François 1st, a visit to the choir of history. This tour will transport you through time. We are under the reign of Francis I. A lady of the court, visiting Chaource, has just lost a very dear friend, Jacqueline de Laigne, the wife of the late Sieur de Chaource, Nicholas de Monstier. Discover with her the romantic story of this couple who left behind an extraordinary masterpiece; the sepulcher of Chaource.
